Lip blush is the softest of all permanent makeup for lips. This service results in a “tinted” look rather than a fully saturated or lined look. Results can last upwards of 18 months depending on the skin and lifestyle. Touch ups every 12-24 months are recommended.

POST CARE RESPONSIBILITIES

Your healed results are 50% us, and 50% you!

  • No water for a minimum of 7 days

  • No makeup on the procedure area

  • No working out or engaging in activities that would cause sweating

  • No picking, peeling, or scratching the pigment

  • No sun exposure

  • No kissing

  • Do not let face get wet in shower

  • Avoid lips when washing face – makeup wipes are easiest

Immediately after procedure: Clean lips with damp cotton round (clean bottled water) every 30 minutes until bedtime.

Night of procedure: If the lips still have dry lymph, wash with lukewarm water gently removing the dry lymph, pat dry and apply Aquaphor Healing Ointment. Lips may be swollen and puffy. The lips can bruise even after the procedure, do not worry; the bruising will subside within a couple hours after the procedure.

Day 2: The lips may be swollen the second day as well. Please do not ice the lips. Keep the skin moist at all times, do not let the lips be dry. (Aquaphor) Use a straw for all liquids.

Day 3 – 7: Apply Aquaphor as needed – do not let the lips feel dry.

Peeling may begin a few days after receiving a tattoo. Some guests do not peel. This process can last up to a week or longer. Do not use any products other than Aquaphor Healing Ointment (or Grapeseed Oil if allergic to petroleum).

The touch up is best to be done 8 weeks later, allowing sufficient time for clients that heal longer, and more healing time for mature clients as well.
