DEPOSITS

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required in order to book and confirm every appointment. This deposit is to ensure that you are serious about booking your appointment and will be deducted from the total cost of your session. ​

NO SHOWS

If you no call, no show your initial appointment, you will be required to pay in full for a new appointment. If you no show your touch up, a $150 fee is charged prior to being rescheduled.

 

RESCHEDULING

We require a 72-hour notice on all appointment attendance.  All reschedules, regardless of reason, are subject to the 72-hour notice. Last minute cancellations will incur a $100 fee. *Please Note: Appointments may only be moved twice. A $150 fee is required for appointments rescheduled more than two times and follow ups that exceed 16 weeks from the date of initial service. All booking fees are non-refundable, without exception.

CANCELLATIONS

If you choose to cancel your appointment you will automatically surrender your deposit.

TARDINESS

Being more than 20 minutes late to your appointment may result in the forfeit of your deposit and the cancellation of your appointment. A new deposit will be required to re-book any appointment.

 

TOUCH UPS

Rescheduled 8-12 week touch ups cannot be guaranteed as they are subject to the availability of the artist’s schedule. If a rescheduled touch up does not return within the allotted time frame (8-12 weeks), you will be required to pay for this service ($150-200).  If you are a candidate for a third appointment (photo approval required) and wish to switch artists, pricing will reflect the artist’s experience.

 

CANDIDACY

All clients are responsible for checking candidacy prior to any appointment. If we are unable to perform the procedure at the time of your appointment because you have a listed contraindication, didn’t follow pre care, or will engage in an activity that will disrupt the healing process, your appointment will be canceled and your deposit will be surrendered. We reserve the right to refuse our services.

 

EXPECTATIONS

Cosmetic tattooing does not fully replace wearing makeup. Healed results will vary with each client and using makeup may still be needed. We have no control over what occurs during the healing process. Absolutely NO guarantee will be made and additional sessions (charged accordingly) may be required to obtain optimal results.

 

EXISTING PERMANENT MAKEUP

If you have previous permanent makeup and are interested in a cover-up / correction, you must email clear photos prior to booking your appointment. We cannot guarantee results for cases such as these and we must confirm your case is workable. If the previous work is too dark, dense, discolored, or large, tattoo removal will be highly recommended before beginning the cover-up/re-work. Previously tattooed areas and cover-ups will almost always require additional appointments for best results and will be charged accordingly. If you come to your appointment with previously tattooed eyebrows without informing us, your appointment will be canceled and you will forfeit the deposit.

Pricing is subject to change at any time.

 

GUEST POLICY

Only the artist and the client being tattooed are allowed in the treatment room.  We kindly request that you do not bring children who require your attention, more than one companion, or pets.

 

CORRECTIONS

No guarantees can be made during corrective work.  If for any reason you decide to go elsewhere for your touch up, please note that Studio Hue will no longer do future appointments on you.

BOOKING

Our booking is done online to allow our guests to schedule at their convenience.  Once you have reviewed this packet and confirmed you are a candidate, you’re ready to book!  Please note: Lip Blush and Color Boosts require photo approval prior to booking.  Please email your clear photos to hellostudiohue@gmail.com.  *Photo Tips: For brows and lips, take the pictures near a window.  Natural daylight is best.  We prefer close ups, but not zoomed in.  Take a photo from the front and both sides. 

 

When viewing the calendar, open appointments will appear as blue squares. If the calendar is completely gray, this means there are no open appointments at that time.  Please select another artist, or check back to see if new appointments have opened.  We encourage our guests to check our availability frequently when trying to schedule- we release new appointments daily!  To have the most up to date booking availability, follow us on Instagram @hellostudiohue.​​

 

HEALED TATTOO EXPECTATIONS

Protect your investment! Permanent cosmetics will require consistent care once healed to ensure a lasting and natural result. Please, treat them like babies!

• Avoid anti-aging and exfoliating products such as retinols, glycolics, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and the like. This will cause premature fading and/or color change. 

• Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen! We cannot stress this enough. UV rays are your tattoo’s worst enemy. Keep your work covered with SPF daily and a hat if outside. Sun exposure will cause fading and pigment discoloration.

• Laser procedures such as hair removal or resurfacing will alter the pigment. Please inform your technician of any permanent cosmetics on your face and cover your work with a very thick layer of Vaseline or band aids.

• Moisturized skin retains better! Keep yourself hydrated and always apply a daily moisturizer to your permanent makeup.

• If you have had microblading done, your brows should be faded by a minimum of 60% before you come back in for a color boost appointment.  We ask you to space your annual touch ups apart by 24-36 months.

• Microbladed Brows are LOW maintenance, NOT NO MAINTENANCE!  It is perfectly fine to perfect them with a touch of makeup.

• Repetitive touch ups will result in your brows looking like a solid tattoo.  If that is your preferred look then a powder brow is better for you.  If your goal is to see a hair stroke look, a little makeup until your brows have faded to 60% or more is better for you in the long run.

• Your skin undergoes trauma with each unnecessary visit.

• Faded brows allow for FRESH, CRISP results the next visit.  This way we can keep more of a realistic look each visit.
